In 1996 the stud name was created, and over the last two decades a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into developing what is known today as Calais Miniature Ponies.
In 2000 Calais entered the show scene, with the ponies having the presence, movement and conformation that is required to be so successfully today. Calais ponies have won many awards in Victoria and interstate, and always strive for excellence.

Calais Miniature Ponies support as many AMPS shows and awards as possible, providing support and guidance to other members and encouraging them to come and promote their ponies as well.
We are located in Lara, Victoria (Australia). Lara is situated a comfortable driving distance between Melbourne and Geelong. Visitors are most welcome by appointment.
